Myth#1: Nasal plastic surgery is performed by using plastic materials: Some people who are not aware about nose job believe that cosmetic surgeons use plastic materials to make the desired change in the overall appearance of the nose. But this is not at all true. Actually, the word “plastic” comes from a Greek word which means “to mold” something. As we all know, nose is a complex structure containing cartilage, bone, and other features. Therefore, don't go in wrong hands that may take you to life threatening results.
Myth#3: Rhinoplasty is painful: Undoubtedly, every surgery, in one way or other, associated with pain. In case of nasal procedure, it is performed under general or local anesthesia so to keep patient away from the pain during the entire job.
Myth#4: Rhinoplasty surgery leaves no scars: Unfortunately, this misconception if not true. Yes!, sutures are placed so well that they remain out of sight after recovery.
